Nei, bare litt. Vi bodde i Tromsø i ett år, og jeg prøvde å snakker norsk, menn det var så vanskelig for å bruke norsk, fordi vi kunn ikke vorstå uttale ("Ka du sa??"). So rather than deal with our lack of comprehension, people would just switch.
There was a student at NTNU, Sindre Berg Steine I think was the real name, who used to travel in online Objectivist circles.
The real malt whisky tragedy is the taxes and the Vinmonopul in general.

OK. I'll have to check if Sindre Berg Stene is still active, as there aren't to many objectivists in this area. Thanks for the tip!
And yes, the prises on the alcohol are insane. 90% of the cost of a beer for instance, are taxes... Stores were actually selling beer with loss this summer, in order to draw customers. Guess what happened? The goverment decided that doing so was 'illegal', and they made it against the law for stores to set the prises that low. And yes, the Vinmonopol is ridicoulous. (For those of you who don't know, in Norway, the State is the only one who has the right to sell spirits, wine, and other drinks with more than 6% alcohol)
So as a poor student I don't have much money to spend on malt whisky... Annoying, because I think it's much better than the junk I usually drink in the weekends.
